When establishing JD Fitness in 2019, My motto Better Mind Better Body was what I wanted to share with the world.

I established JD Fitness, taking a holistic approach with clients, focusing on improving both body and mind as I provided unique fitness classes and my own brand of personal training.

Better Mind Better Body remains the core of my business as I evolve to provide my own style of yoga & fitness classes, workshops & retreats with a focus on the mind body connect – empowering you with simple tools to thrive in everyday life – breathing, movement, meditation & mudra. 

Over the last few years, I have built my personal toolkit incorporating breathing practices, movement, meditation & mudra. All of which have enabled me to improve my lifestyle, to better manage everyday stresses and lifestyle pressures.

My aim is to share the tools I have acquired through all the yoga courses and workshops I have participated in

I want you to experience the benefits I have experienced so you too can better manage your lifestyle, the pressures, stresses and the challenges you may encounter along the way.

My yoga journey

My yoga journey to date has provided much wisdom and so many benefits – physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually:

Physically, yoga has improved my stability, balance and flexibility, my posture. It has made me self aware of the strengths & limitations of my body, It has taught me to be more compassionate and to helped me to release comparison.

 

Mentally, yoga has helped to develop a more compassionate mindset, yoga is a journey inwards, where you learn ALOT about yourself, (see my blog for deeper posts, I could go on forever). Yoga helped me to find more stillness in my life, it has helped me to become more present with myself, with others. Yoga helped me to realise my values and how central connection is to our overall wellbeing, both connection to self and loved ones.

 

Emotionally & Spiritually, yoga has been a journey of self-acceptance &  self-awareness. It has allowed me to remove outdated limiting beliefs, it has led me to connect deeper with myself and trust and surrender to the timing of life.
